Craft Chocolate Takes Centre Stage in San Francisco

Le Marché du Chocolat returns to San Francisco in May 2027, bringing craft chocolate makers, master chocolatiers and chocolate enthusiasts together for a celebration of chocolate craftsmanship. The event combines sampling and shopping with opportunities to meet makers and learn more about their work.

Organisers describe Le Marché du Chocolat as an international gathering of master chocolatiers, artisanal chocolate makers and industry connoisseurs. The 2027 venue and exact dates have not yet been announced, with additional programme information expected closer to the event.

Sampling, Shopping and Meeting the Makers

At the heart of Le Marché du Chocolat is its chocolate marketplace. Visitors can sample creations, shop directly from participating merchants and meet some of the people behind the chocolates.

The organiser is also promoting on-stage discussions, adding an educational component to the marketplace experience. The complete roster of 2027 merchants has not yet been released.

More Than a Chocolate Market

Le Marché du Chocolat extends beyond traditional chocolate sampling. Organisers say additional ticketed experiences will include a Brunch Buffet, Afternoon Tea and Teddy Bear Tea.

Alcoholic pairings may also be offered for visitors aged 21 and older. Details and schedules for individual 2027 experiences are still to come.

A Festival for Chocolate Lovers of All Ages

The festival is an all-ages event, with children under two admitted free. Participating merchants are expected to exhibit throughout the event, although popular products may sell out as the weekend progresses.

Only trained service animals are permitted at the festival.
