Chocolate Takes Over Midtown Manhattan

Salon du Chocolat NYC returns to New York City March 13–14, 2027, bringing the international world of chocolate to Center 415 in Midtown Manhattan. The two-day event brings together chocolatiers, pastry chefs, confectioners, cocoa producers, specialty brands and chocolate enthusiasts.

Part of the international Salon du Chocolat family, the New York event combines tastings, shopping, demonstrations and interactive experiences with opportunities to discover chocolate makers and brands from around the world. Unlike a traditional industry-only trade show, Salon du Chocolat NYC welcomes consumers and families alongside chefs, buyers and other industry professionals.

Meet Chocolatiers from Around the World

Chocolate discovery is at the centre of the Salon experience. Exhibitors represent artisan chocolatiers, confectioners, cocoa producers, pastry professionals and specialty brands, giving visitors opportunities to sample products, meet makers and shop for chocolates that may be difficult to find locally.

The organiser’s current event format brings together more than 100 chocolatiers, pastry chefs, confectioners and specialty brands. The final 2027 exhibitor roster has not yet been announced.

Live Chocolate Demonstrations

The Culinary Theater is one of the Salon’s signature attractions. Chefs demonstrate chocolate and confectionery techniques on stage, giving visitors a closer look at professional methods and creative approaches.

The Salon’s current format also includes Taste & Learn sessions, combining guided tastings and pairings with discussions about subjects such as sustainability, innovation and confectionery.

From Bean to Bar

The Salon also explores how cacao becomes chocolate. Its Bean-to-Bar Activation demonstrates the equipment and techniques used to transform cacao beans into finished chocolate bars.

When Chocolate Becomes Art

Chocolate’s artistic side is another hallmark of the New York Salon. Recent editions have featured a Fashion Showcase displaying chocolate-inspired couture as well as live chocolate sculpting.

A Chocolate Experience for Families

The Salon is designed for visitors of different ages. Its recent Bite-Sized Kids Zone has introduced younger visitors to cacao and chocolate through hands-on educational activities.
