Salon du Chocolat India returns to Mumbai on February 20–21, 2027, bringing chocolatiers, pastry chefs, cocoa producers, suppliers and chocolate enthusiasts together at the Jio World Convention Centre. Following its inaugural edition in 2026, the international chocolate event returns for a second year with a mix of tastings, demonstrations, education, artistry and industry connections.

The first Indian edition attracted more than 5,462 visitors, 47 exhibitors and 80 brands, with participants from India, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and France. Organisers describe the format as B2B2C, connecting professionals and businesses while remaining accessible to families and chocolate lovers.

Where India’s Growing Chocolate Culture Meets the World

India’s chocolate landscape has expanded beyond familiar mass-market products. Craft chocolate, locally grown cacao, premium gifting and innovative flavours are creating new opportunities for Indian makers and consumers.

Salon du Chocolat India provides a meeting place for this evolving industry. The event connects chocolate brands, chocolatiers, cocoa producers, pastry professionals, retailers, buyers, hospitality specialists and consumers, while introducing visitors to both Indian and international chocolate craftsmanship.

Chocolate Takes to the Runway

One of the event’s most visually distinctive experiences is the Choco-Couture Runway. Designers and chocolatiers collaborate on edible couture that combines fashion, chocolate and artistic expression.

The concept brings one of the international Salon du Chocolat’s signature attractions to Mumbai while providing a dramatic showcase for chocolate as a creative medium.

Watch Chocolatiers and Pastry Chefs at Work

The Choco Demo programme puts professional technique on display as chocolatiers and pastry chefs create chocolate and pastry preparations in front of visitors.

These demonstrations give audiences an opportunity to see the craftsmanship behind finished creations while discovering different techniques, ingredients and approaches to chocolate.

Learn Through Chef Masterclasses

Visitors who want to dig deeper can explore chef-led masterclasses covering techniques such as tempering, moulding and flavour development.

The sessions are designed for a mixed audience, including curious chocolate enthusiasts as well as aspiring and experienced professionals. The complete roster of chefs and 2027 masterclasses can be added once the detailed programme is announced.

Taste Chocolate from Around the World

The Global Tasting Experience explores chocolate through origins, cultures and different approaches to craftsmanship. Visitors can compare flavour profiles while learning more about the diversity found within fine chocolate.

It also complements India’s growing interest in its own cacao origins. Indian bean-to-bar makers have increasingly brought attention to sourcing, fermentation, roasting and the character of locally grown cacao.

Conversations About the Future of Chocolate

Salon du Chocolat India also has a substantial industry component. Its Talk Show brings industry leaders together to discuss emerging trends, innovation and developments affecting chocolate and cocoa.

For participating companies, the event provides opportunities to meet buyers, suppliers, retailers, hospitality professionals and other businesses alongside its consumer-facing experiences.

Looking Ahead to February 2027

Salon du Chocolat India 2027 takes place February 20–21 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Visitor passes are already being promoted by the organiser, while further information about participating brands, chefs and the detailed 2027 programme is expected as the event approaches.
